Lorraine Kelly

Lorraine Kelly is best known for her own show LK Today on GMTV, which goes out live four days a week. The programme is fast moving packed with glitz, glamour and gossip, attracting huge audiences.
On top of the GMTV slot Lorraine has also been seen presenting various shows across other channels and is also no stranger to radio either.
We welcome her as host for the Neighbourhood Awards 2008.

Welcome to the Neighbourhood Awards (formerly the iNbiz Awards)

Closing date extended to 23 May. Entry is free.
The awards celebrate the work that comes from housing associations' commitments to customers, neighbourhoods and excellence.
These awards are unique because they are judged by tenants from across the country. One overall winner is selected from among the category winners by a panel of experts.
Winners are announced at a glittering ceremony on 18 September 2008 at the National Housing Federation annual conference in Birmingham.

A call for tenant judges
The success of the Neighbourhood Awards has been largely due to the participation of over 80 nominated tenant and resident judges.
As part of our ongoing commitment to tenant and resident participation in the judging process of the Neighbourhood Awards, we are again asking for nominations for tenants and residents to judge in 2008.
All voting will take place online.

What We Are Proud Of Award
The Board Members Choice
The What We We Are Proud Of Award is a new category within this year's Neighbourhood Awards. The award will be linked to a series of board members' events which we are holding in different regions. Each regional event will incorporate an exciting competition to showcase projects and initiatives that you are most proud of.
Unlike the other categories in our Neighbourhood Awards scheme, you can only nominate a project for the What We Are Proud Of Award by contacting your regional events officer.
Closing dates for regional submission

Last year's overall winner

Last year's overall winner was Julie Fadden (pictured with awards’ host Trisha Goddard) from South Liverpool Housing.
The work of Julie and the other winners showed that housing associations go the extra mile to provide neighbourhoods where people feel proud to live.
